Is this the same as diabetes medication?+
Semaglutide is the same active ingredient used in some diabetes medications, but our program is offered specifically for weight management, not for diabetes treatment or blood sugar control. If you have diabetes, your provider will review your full health history to determine the right approach for you.
Are there people who shouldn’t use this medication?+
Yes. This medication is generally not appropriate during pregnancy or for those with a personal or family history of certain thyroid cancers (such as medullary thyroid carcinoma) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2. Your provider will review your full health history before starting any program.
What does a typical visit schedule look like?+
